Pearls is high energy art-pop. The songs tackle tough subjects like low self-esteem, losing a marriage, suicidal thoughts, energy vampires, depression, rebellion, addiction, and vulnerability. These are balanced with songs celebrating romantic love, spiritual guidance, delights in life, and the victory that comes from being all in. Ultimately every song takes the listener on a path of self-discovery and insight, leaving them feeling understood, uplifted, and loved.

Jazz-folk-worldbeat songs about many types of love we experience - gratitude, nature, romantic, self-care, devotional, brotherly/sisterly, community, people and substances that aren’t good for us, pets, and spiritual love.

Ultimately, it’s a journey to a joyful celebration of life.

All songs were sung looking at high energy pictures. Each person will uniquely metabolize those packets of energy that come through my voice.

Fabulous jazz musicians were wonderful to work with and made the songs vibrant. Kevin Van Sant - electric guitar, Doug Largent - upright bass, and Beverly Botsford - percussion.
